Fernweh/Heimweh (2016)

Fernweh – German word for the longing one feels for a faraway place.

Heimweh – German word for the longing one feels for home.

In Fernweh/Heimweh (aka Walking Home), the Walker imagines a home for his quiet and simpler self on the edges of the city. In order to arrive to this goal he is required to pass through a surreal labyrinth revisiting all of the noise, fighting temptation and relying on a little luck to arrive to this imagined self/home.

This short film (3:14) was made during a 36-hour time frame and shot with a Nikon D5200.
